Bear Hold

Abdominals · Shoulders · Quadriceps · Bodyweight

How to do it

  1. Start on your hands and knees, hands under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
  2. Tuck your toes and lift your knees an inch or two off the floor, keeping your back flat and core braced.
  3. Keep your hips level with your shoulders, avoiding any pike or sag in your lower back.
  4. Hold this hovering tabletop position, breathing steadily, without letting your knees touch down.
  5. Maintain the hold for the prescribed amount of time.
