Decline Sit-Up
Abdominals · Hip flexors · Bench
How to do it
- Hook your feet under the pads of a decline sit-up bench and lie back on the bench with your knees bent.
- Cross your arms over your chest or place your hands lightly behind your head without pulling on your neck.
- Brace your core and curl your torso up off the bench, leading with your chest toward your knees.
- Continue until your torso is upright, or as close to it as your hip mobility allows.
- Reverse the motion under control, lowering your torso back down to the bench.
- Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions without letting your feet slip out from under the pads.
