Lizard Stretch

How to do it

  1. Step one foot forward into a long lunge, with the back knee on the floor or hovering.
  2. Place both hands inside the front foot, on the floor or on blocks.
  3. Let the front knee track over the toes and sink the hips low, keeping the chest lifted.
  4. Keep the back hip reaching back so the stretch stays in the hip flexor and inner thigh, not a twist toward the front foot.
  5. Hold for the set time, then switch sides.
