Rucking

How to do it

  1. Load a weight vest or rucksack with a plate or sandbag, positioned high and close to the shoulders.
  2. Stand tall with the chest up, shoulders back, and core braced.
  3. Walk at a brisk, sustainable pace on flat or varied terrain.
  4. Maintain a normal stride length rather than overstriding to compensate for the load.
  5. Continue for the target time or distance, keeping posture consistent throughout.
