Hamstrings · Shoulders · Traps · Forearms · Abdominals · Lower back · Sandbag
How to do it
- Stand over the sandbag with feet shoulder-width apart, hips hinged back and chest over the bag.
- Grip the sides or handles of the bag with a flat back and a braced core.
- Drive explosively through your hips and legs to pull the bag upward, keeping it close to your body.
- As the bag rises past your hips, pull it in and rotate it onto one shoulder, catching it with your elbow high.
- Stand fully upright with the bag racked on the shoulder.
- Lower the bag back to the floor under control and repeat, alternating shoulders each rep.
