Shrimp Squat
Quadriceps · Glutes · Hamstrings · Calves · Abdominals · Bodyweight

How to do it
- Stand tall on one leg and reach the other hand back to grip the ankle of the non-working leg, bending that knee so the foot sits near your glute.
- Brace your core and reach your free arm forward for balance.
- Keeping your torso upright, bend the standing knee and lower your body under control.
- Let the bent rear knee travel down toward the floor behind you as you descend, keeping hold of the rear ankle throughout.
- Lower until the rear knee lightly touches the floor, or as close as control allows, without letting go of the ankle or losing balance.
- Drive through the standing foot to return to standing, keeping the torso tall the whole way up.
- Complete all reps on one leg before switching sides.
