Suitcase Carry

How to do it

  1. Stand next to a dumbbell placed on the floor at your side.
  2. Hinge at the hips with a flat back to pick it up in one hand, letting it hang at arm's length just outside your leg.
  3. Stand tall, brace your core hard to resist leaning toward the loaded side, and keep your shoulders level.
  4. Walk forward with short, controlled steps for the target distance or time without letting your torso tip sideways.
  5. Set the weight down under control, then repeat on the opposite side for equal volume.
