Typewriter Pull-Up
Lats · Biceps · Shoulders · Middle back · Forearms · Bodyweight
How to do it
- Hang from a pull-up bar with your hands set wide, well outside shoulder width.
- Pull yourself up until your chin clears the bar, finishing close to one hand.
- Keeping your chin above the bar and your arms bent, shift your body sideways across the bar toward the other hand, like a typewriter carriage.
- Pause once you reach the far hand, staying at the top of the pull throughout the shift.
- Shift back across to the starting hand, still without lowering.
- Lower yourself under control to a full dead hang to complete one repetition.
