Peak Health

Rest between sets.

Rest starts when you log the set.

Between one set and the next you wait the time the plan asks for. In Peak Health the clock starts when you log the set. You count minutes between lifts, not intervals of a HIIT circuit.

What is rest between sets?

After a group of reps you rack the bar and wait. The plan writes 90 seconds, two minutes, three. Those minutes start when you rack.

Example: squat 80 kg × 5, the plan asks for 2 min. Those 2 min start when you rack the bar.

How is it different from a HIIT timer?

A HIIT timer (40/20) or Tabata (20/10) flips work blocks and pause blocks for a circuit. This clock counts to the next squat or press. If you want an interval timer, this page is not that tool.

When does it start in Peak Health?

The app clock starts when you log the set. Fifteen seconds either way is one tap. The next set is queued.

Rest between sides is on per-side tracking.

Effort on every set is on RPE and RIR.

How do you use it in the gym?

At the desk you set rest on the routine. On the floor you log and let the time run. A network is required. Weight is in kilograms.

Train it. Then read it.
